Welcome to the Long Tall Sally website. This site aims to inform those interested in assisting us financially in expanding our fleet by investing in one of our vessels, with Long Tall Sally the first to be launched. Here, you will not find specific details on our vessels and their respective itineraries. Please visit the Sally Lightfoot website to read about that and/or download our company brochure here.
Here you will be informed on the specifics of investing in our fleet, on what you may expect in terms of financial input and return on your investment on one hand, and on what we would expect from you on the other. Should you desire any additional information after having studied this site, please contact us. We will be happy to answer your questions. memorandumToday Sally Lightfoot Ltd. has entered into an agreement with the Dutch Tax Authorities in which it has been acknowledged that the structure for investing into one of our vessels, will allow the investors to profit from a taxprogramme geared at stimulating the economy. This enables Sally Lightfoot Ltd., as the first and only Dutch shipping company operating sailing vessels, to offer her investors the benefits of the taxprogram. Read the rest of this entry

Long Tall Sally is an expedition sailing vessel, the first out of the fleet Sally Lightfoot will be developing over the next few years. The ship will call on destinations well of the beaten track. Her comfort zone includes Spitsbergen, Greenland, Northwest Passage, Antarctica and Kamtsjatka. But although Long Tall Sally is designed to withstand the challenges of high latitude sailing, she will also ply waters in milder climates. Like last year we will attend the Monacy Yacht Show to promote our expedition vessels. We will do this in joint effort with yachtbroker De Valk Interenational at their stand. Simultaneously our vessels will be promoted at Dijkstra & Partners stand further along the quays on the fairgrounds. Mini submersable manufacturer Uboatworx will also present our vessels in combination with its submarine exploration crafts at their fiarground presentation area. With three different outlets our vessels will certainly draw the attention required to expand our network and to attract the investors ready to push some sailing boundaries.

We are proud to announce our coopereation with the Wild Image Project, a longterm photography and filming expedition to high latitude destionations. Over the coming two years, Sally Lightfoot and the Wild Image Project team will work together to develop and build a Long Tall Sally like expedition vessel, catering for the specific needs the team will have. The vessel has been given a name: Wild Sally.
