Wild Sally: Wild Image Project and Sally Lightfoot

Wild Image ProjectWe are proud to announce our coopereation with the Wild Image Project, a longterm photography and filming expedition to high latitude destionations. Over the coming two years, Sally Lightfoot and the Wild Image Project team will work together to develop and build a Long Tall Sally like expedition vessel, catering for the specific needs the team will have. The vessel has been given a name: Wild Sally.

Enterprising expedition sailing vessel

composite_lts_ice_21-compr1Long Tall Sally is an expedition sailing vessel, the first out of the fleet Sally Lightfoot will be developing over the next few years. The ship will call on destinations well of the beaten track. Her comfort zone includes Spitsbergen, Greenland, Northwest Passage, Antarctica and Kamtsjatka. But although Long Tall Sally is designed to withstand the challenges of high latitude sailing, she will also ply waters in milder climates. Sally Lightfoot company brochure

Divers with Galapagos Sea Lions, James IslandFor those wishing to get a first impression of  Sally Lightfoot and her fleet of identical expedition vessels,  a full colour 32 page brochure is available as from today. In it the Sally Lightfoot concept, the destinations, the yachts and the possbility to invest in the fleet, are presented. Pictures, renderings and sketches illustrate the destinations we have in mind and the quality level we aim for.
